Now That’s What I Call Orchestra ONE!
We’ve been thinking about all of the incredible compositions that have been created from these projects and our superb Sound Engineer, Tom Wood, came up with an idea – why not make an Orchestra ONE Greatest Hits album?! Tom has taken all of the best bits from the last two years’ worth of projects and re-edited these to create a playlist celebrating all of the ‘best bits’ from Projects 19-24.

A Broomstick Ride with Orchestra ONE
During the October half term, Orchestra ONE participants came together for our 24th project, with the theme of Magic having been chosen by young people who had taken part in previous projects. It was great to see so many familiar faces, but also to welcome a number of new young people to the project.

Orchestra ONE: Project 23 – Gaming and Technology aka. Orchestra ONE Hero!
During the summer holidays, our Orchestra ONE players came together for four days at Maidstone Grammar School to create a fantastic original composition, based on the theme of Gaming and Technology. Our regular members were delighted to see the return of Musical Director, Joe Browne, and under his guidance they created a musical representation of a computer game, complete with different musical worlds and levels, all moving towards the defeat of the final evil boss to become the ultimate Orchestra ONE hero!

The Music of the Future (Well, Not Any More)
On the evening of Thursday 11 April, parents and families came to Maplesden Noakes to watch the final concert of Orchestra ONE – Project 22. This was the culmination of four days’ hard work from both our young people and their tutors, who had spent the course exploring the theme of ‘The Future’.
