GCSE Music Performance Moderation

Are you a single-person department or would value moderating with a group of people? Join us at Kent Music for this supportive session!

Come together with other Kent secondary music teachers to support each other in moderating GCSE performance coursework.

A full morning session, this will be an opportunity to bring a sample of your students’ solo and ensemble performances and mark them together to ensure accuracy and consistency of marking, in a friendly and supportive environment. All GCSE examination boards are welcome.

This session will be facilitated by Zoe Marksford, School Support and Development Manager at Kent Music.

Moderation for GCSE composition will take place in the morning. Please see separate CPD event to sign up.

If you book a place please endeavour to attend or let us know if you can no longer make it as this may be preventing another person booking a space. There will be a charge of £15 to schools for non-attendance without 48hours notice.
