I’m so pleased to be joining Kent Music, as I strongly believe in the power that music and the arts have to connect and inspire. As a guitar player, songwriter and pop music nerd I am sure I will find being part of an organisation that gives music opportunities to so many hugely rewarding. I have had lots of fun experiences in music; I played in a few bands in my twenties and was lucky enough to go on tour to Paris and Rotterdam and performed at some amazing venues around London. In my spare time I like to listen to music from the 1960s, I’m a big Northern Soul fan and I have a growing collection of vinyl. Outside of music I am happiest exploring new places with my girlfriend, usually spending my weekends perusing record shops with a takeaway coffee. I am also a long-suffering supporter of Tottenham Hotspur FC. I have a deep connection with Kent, having grown up around Cranbrook; and I love discovering new things that the county has to offer. My current favourite hot spots are Margate or Whitstable for fish and chips and a seaside walk, and the Tunbridge Wells Forum to catch up and coming bands.
