Sarah Whitehead

I am a passionate woodwind teacher with 25 years of experience sharing my love of music.

When I was 11 I received my first flute having previously played recorder and violin. This sparked a lifetime of passion and inspired me to also learn the oboe, clarinet and saxophone. Whilst playing in the Bromley Symphony Orchestra I chose to make my passion a career, obtaining my Teaching Diploma from the London College of Music.

I love to make music accessible for all, regardless of age, and so teach anyone from young children to adults, and from Prep Test to Grade 8 examinations.

Outside of teaching, I am a member of the Sevenoaks and Tonbridge Band, an avid gardener and have recently taken up bellringing!
