Clarinet , Flute , Music Theory , Piano , Saxophone , Ukulele

I am a woodwind and piano teacher with over 15 years of experience teaching and working in music education, from Junior Trinity to several music services. I began learning piano aged 6 and then started saxophone at school in Year 5 and I was hooked. Music very quickly became a huge part of my life and I still get so much enjoyment from it.

I graduated from Trinity Conservatoire of Music in London on saxophone and studied flute and clarinet there. I studied for the teaching LTCL, specialising in Early Years music education. Since then I have performed as a soloist for the British Saxophone Congress and at various concert venues such as the Wimbledon Tennis Championships, Queen Elizabeth Hall, Albert Hall and Southbank Centre.

My favourite part of teaching is encouraging a life-long love of music in my students and we learn music from many different styles, we use technology and learn theory as we go. I like to keep my lessons fun, play games and be creative, and I enjoy continually learning, integrating new techniques/pedagogies and attending CPD to enhance my teaching.
