I have been a music teacher for 20 years and I teach piano, violin, ukulele and recorder individually and in ensembles.

Following my piano diploma, I undertook a programme of study in teaching using the Kodaly approach, where children learn to develop an understanding of rhythm and pitch, and to become natural and creative musicians with a love of making music, alongside learning to play their chosen instrument. I use this approach in my teaching.

In my spare time, I play viola in the City of Rochester Symphony Orchestra.
