I have been teaching music in schools for over 20 years now and delivering lessons in strings and piano to children of all primary ages.

I hold a Music degree from the University of Huddersfield and a Post Graduate Certificate of Education from Reading University. As well as my work for Kent Music I enjoy my role as Music Coordinator in Kent Primary schools, which allows me to lead choirs, orchestras, various instrumental ensembles and Hymn Practices as well as lots of whole class teaching!

I like to vary my teaching style depending on the needs of the pupil, and enjoy making the journey with my learners to their own musical goal. I will always strive to learn more, and attend CPD and music education networks and conferences.

I am a keen musician in my spare time and play violin with my string quartet and various local orchestras.
