About the role

  • Job Title: Instrumental Teacher – Piano
  • Places of work: Sevenoaks, Tonbridge & Malling and Tunbridge Wells
  • Salaried Teaching Hours: 11.5 teaching hours per week
  • Fraction: 0.4 FTE inclusive of working hours for other duties
  • Salary: £26,388.60 to £32,126.73 pro rata

As a Kent Music teacher you will have the opportunity to teach in a variety of settings including, 1-1, small group, whole class and Ensemble teaching in local schools and Music Centres.

This role involves teaching at local primary schools in Sevenoaks on Tuesday and Friday afternoons, with opportunities to expand teaching within the advertised areas and beyond.

Desired but not essential: Proficiency in a secondary instrument and experience in, or a willingness to explore, whole class instrumental teaching.

You will benefit from regular CPD and other duties which form part of your working hours and will be a paid part of your contract.
