Highlights of the Day:
  • Engaging Workshops and Interactive Discussions: Tailored content for infant, primary, secondary, and special schools.
  • Keynote Speaker: Craig McLeish: Renowned freelance musician and musical director of Young Voices for the past 24 years, Craig will share his insights on composing, choral directing, orchestration, songwriting, and production.
  • Special Sessions by Leading Educators:
    • James Mainwaring, a distinguished teacher and regular X performer looking at leading a successful secondary department and finding that entrepreneur in you ( two sessions with a secondary focus)
    • Sarah Share, co-author of Uprising! (SEND focus)
    • Francis Winston with his popular session, Rappin’ The Classroom, tailored for primary music leads. (Primary focus)
    • Emily Barden, delivering dynamic singing sessions for both primary and secondary staff. (Primary and secondary focus)
    • Kelly Reynolds, offering an inspiring EYFS session, embedding music into the everyday curriculum. (EYFS focus)
    • Nathan Timothy from The Song Writing Charity leading a routes into song writing in the SEND setting. (SEND focus)
    • Stephanie Warrender with the Laulau Songdrawing Method with a focus on inclusion and SEND. (SEND and inclusion focus)
    • Kent’s own Dice Wood with a session on workload and wellbeing. (Teacher focus!)
    • Mike Simpson from Inspire Works with a heart-pumping Samba workshop. (Primary focus)
  • Full Expo and Networking Opportunities: Engage with music and education organisations and attend drop-in sessions to meet your area manager and Kent Music’s Chief Executive, Peter Bolton.
  • Wellbeing and Mental Health Area: Relax and recharge with coffee and chat hosted by Dice Wood and our own Felicity Redworth.

Ticket Information:

  • Free for teachers from schools in Kent and Medway.
  • £50 for teachers from schools outside Kent and Medway or independent schools.
