Navigating the Role of a Primary Music Lead

A full day CPD for new and developing primary music leads.

Taking place centrally at the Maidstone Innovation Centre, the day will investigate the following themes:
What is the role of a music lead and why is the role different to other curriculum area leads? This will include planning, assessment, monitoring, document writing, working with the Hub, managing funding, instrumental teachers and events, extra-curricular, trips, performances and working with your music averse colleagues!.
Vision making and writing your Music Development Plan will be a key element of the day, as will an investigation of resources.
